Worn dies rarely fail all at once. They drift, and the cost shows up as downtime, waste and damaged anvils long before the die is scrapped.
You need more pressure to get a full cut, and anvils or liners are wearing faster.

It depends on the die's design, material and how much wear or damage it has. We remove only as much material as needed, so a well-maintained die can usually be restored several times. We'll tell you what's left after each service.
Restoring a die typically costs a fraction of buying a new one. Every die is different, so we inspect and quote before starting any work.
We'll tell you. If a die is beyond economic repair, we'd rather say so than charge you for work that won't pay back.
